About the Role
We’re looking for a driven Manufacturing Engineer to join our client’s production team. This role plays a key part in improving manufacturing processes, increasing efficiency, and ensuring product quality. The Manufacturing Engineer will work cross-functionally with production, quality, and maintenance teams to develop solutions that keep operations running smoothly and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Develop, test, and implement new tools, equipment, and workflows.
Collaborate with design and quality teams to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
Lead root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
Create and maintain technical documentation, process instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
Train production staff on new processes and equipment.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience (entry-level candidates with internships will be considered).
Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience with automation, robotics, or CNC equipment.
Project management experience.
Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
